Product Description
The Optimus® 6 is a 6mm bore, additive-manufactured (3D printed) suppressor engineered to reduce system backpressure compared to traditional suppressor designs. Its high-flow baffle architecture maintains strong sound and flash suppression while improving host firearm reliability. A quad-tine flash hider end cap is tuned in conjunction with the low-backpressure baffle stack to deliver exceptional flash reduction. The Optimus® 6 ships with the Utility Mount (HUB 1.375×24 TPI).
Constructed entirely from ultra-strong 17-4 stainless steel, the printed core undergoes post-production machining to create a smooth exterior free of typical additive manufacturing layer lines. The blast shield and mount system are machined in-house from 17-4 stainless steel and laser welded to the baffle core, allowing for streamlined serviceability in the event of a baffle strike or catastrophic failure. Like all Griffin suppressors, the Optimus® 6 is backed by the Perpetual Lifetime Warranty™.
Griffin Armament developed the Optimus® 6 following years of additive manufacturing research and prototyping. Recent advancements in 3D metal printing enabled the production of a feature-rich suppressor at a value-driven price point.
NOTE: Utility Mount (HUB) Optimus® 6 suppressors do not include a muzzle device or HUB insert. Mounting interfaces and muzzle devices must be purchased separately.
