Product Description
The Optimus® 7 is a .30 cal additive-manufactured (3D printed) suppressor optimized to reduce system backpressure compared to traditional suppressor designs. Its high gas-flow baffle architecture maintains strong sound and flash suppression while improving host firearm reliability. The quad-tine flash hider end cap is tuned in conjunction with the low backpressure baffle stack to deliver exceptional flash reduction. The suppressor is optimized for .30 cal projectiles such as .308 WIN and .300 WM.
The Optimus® 7 is constructed entirely from ultra-strong 17-4 H900 heat-treated stainless steel. The printed core is post-machined to create a smooth exterior, eliminating the visible layer lines common in other additive-manufactured suppressors. The blast shield and mount system are machined in-house from 17-4 stainless steel and laser welded to the baffle core, allowing for streamlined serviceability in the event of a baffle strike or catastrophic failure. Like all Griffin suppressors, the Optimus® 7 is backed by the Perpetual Lifetime Warranty™.
Griffin Armament developed the Optimus® 7 following extensive research and prototyping in additive manufacturing. Advancements in 3D metal printing enabled the production of a feature-rich suppressor at a value-driven price point.
NOTE: Utility Mount (HUB) Optimus® 7 suppressors do not include a muzzle device or HUB insert. Mounting interfaces and muzzle devices must be purchased separately.
