The MFMD-MD is the muzzle device-only version of the MFMD system, designed for 5.56 caliber belt-fed rifles with 5/8x24 threads. This listing includes the MD muzzle device only and does not include the additional SD or SDX components.
The MFMD-MD requires 0.8" of OTB (over-the-barrel) clearance. Clearance is measured from the barrel shoulder to the first obstruction. Installation is direct thread using the included shims and installation tool, with no additional adapter required.
