The MFMD-MD is the muzzle device-only version of the MFMD system, designed for 5.56 rifles with 1/2x28 muzzle threads. This listing includes the MD muzzle device only and does not include the additional SD or SDX components.
The MFMD-MD requires 0.0" OTB (over-the-barrel) clearance, meaning it must sit flush against the barrel shoulder with no obstruction. Installation is direct thread using the included shims and installation tool, with no additional adapter required.
