Designed by Spyderco co-founder and Blade Magazine Hall of Fame® member Sal Glesser, the Bodacious™ is named after the American bucking bull known as “the world’s most dangerous bull.” Inspired by that legendary animal’s strength and relentless spirit, the Bodacious is a hard-use folding knife built for durability and dependable performance.
Its broad, leaf-shaped blade is full-flat ground from CPM® S30V® stainless steel and features a Diamond-Like Carbon (DLC) coating for added durability and a low-visibility finish. The blade also incorporates Spyderco’s Trademark Round Hole™ for fast, ambidextrous one-handed deployment.
The handle is built around skeletonized stainless steel liners nested within smooth G-10 scales and reinforced with a minimalist stainless steel backspacer. The liners form the foundation of Spyderco’s Compression Lock® mechanism while also providing a secure mounting platform for the reversible pocket clip. The clip supports left or right-side tip-up carry and straddles a generously sized lanyard hole for easy attachment of fobs or retention lanyards.
Like the DLC-coated blade, the liners, clip, and hardware also feature matching black coatings for a unified all-black appearance.
