The THING 3: Chest Rig Platform
The THING 3 is a robust, rigid load-bearing platform designed to enhance the carrying capacity of a Micro Fight chest rig system or serve as a solid foundation for a custom pouch setup with its MOLLE-compatible front.
Featuring a 4-column, double-sided MOLLE field on each side, the THING 3 provides ample space for attaching pouches on both the front and back.
The THING 3 requires the addition of a Fat Strap and Back Strap. Sold separately.
Key Features:
- Fully Articulating Buckles: Each end of the THING 3 is equipped with secure buckles mounted on eyelets, allowing full articulation for enhanced flexibility and comfort.
- Quick Placard Attachment: A dedicated loop field and retaining loops allow for quick and secure attachment of Micro Fight MkV, Micro Fight Mk4, or other brand placards, enabling easy transitions between chest rig and plate carrier configurations.
- Additional MOLLE Field: The center of the THING 3 features a MOLLE field on both sides, allowing for configurations such as mounting three SPUD pouches on the front or placing admin pouches closer to the body.
- Modular Design: The center portion of the THING 3 can be separated to accommodate accessories such as the Spiritus Systems SACK Pouch, Lunch Box, or Brunch Box via hook-and-loop fasteners.
- Fat Strap Compatibility: When not using a placard, the THING 3 includes two 1-inch male split-bar buckles for attaching a Fat Strap.

The THING 3 is offered exclusively in Coyote Brown and Black, as it is designed to be covered by pouches.
