The 5.56 Placard is designed to provide users with superior retention of magazines and other mission-critical equipment.
- The use of elastic creates form-fitting cells capable of holding a variety of items. The stretch properties of the material allow it to expand and accommodate larger or irregularly shaped equipment.
- Unlike other elastic pouches on the market, Spiritus Systems utilizes webbing at the base of the system instead of fully sewing it shut. This design allows for maximum flex and articulation while helping to eliminate the “birthing” effect, where items are pushed out due to tapering at the bottom.
- Laminate loops are incorporated on the exterior of each cell to allow for the attachment of retention loops or to assist in opening the pouch for easier item insertion.
- The back of the placard is fully lined with a hook field for secure attachment to a plate carrier.
- The 5.56 Placard functions as more than just a placard. Each corner features a small loop of 1-inch webbing, which is used to attach the included ITW Nexus hardware, converting the placard into a Nano-sized chest rig.
