The SOF 556K QD suppressor is a compact 5.56mm rifle suppressor constructed from Inconel 718 using 3D metallurgical additive manufacturing. Measuring 5.20 inches long and 1.60 inches in diameter at a weight of 15 ounces, the 556K QD is configured for applications where overall suppressor length is a consideration. It has an unrestricted minimum barrel length, a listed maximum velocity of 3,300 FPS, and is rated for full-auto operation.
The SOF 556K QD uses a 1x16 LH quick-detach mounting interface and includes an AI Nano muzzle device for attachment to a compatible host firearm. Its listed durability threshold is three 30-round magazines fired at a one-second cadence to the heat threshold, while the NANOG coating is intended for high-temperature use. The suppressor has a recommended cleaning interval of 3,000 rounds and is covered by a limited lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects.
