Design Intent:
This trigger system is engineered for defensive applications where safety, predictability, and reliability are the primary considerations. Operating optimally within a 3.5–4.5 lb break weight range, the system is designed to provide consistent performance for defensive carry Glock® platforms.

Pre-travel is adjustable**, but is reduced and set to approximately 1/8" in this configuration. The wall is defined and predictable, supporting consistent trigger control under stress. The break is clean and crisp, while the reset is short, tactile, and positive. Combined with zero over-travel, these characteristics support controlled follow-up shots and consistent shot placement in defensive scenarios.

Physical Modifications and Enhancements:
The trigger bar is smoothed, de-burred, and refined through a proprietary process to ensure consistent geometry and reduced friction. Additional enhancements are applied to promote smooth, drag-free movement across both polymer and metal contact surfaces.

The trigger shoe and housing feature adjustable set screws constructed from 18/10 stainless steel, with ground and polished tips, secured with threadlocker. The trigger housing incorporates further proprietary refinements to enhance overall smoothness and function.

The trigger safety tab is contoured to sit flush with the trigger shoe, reducing potential discomfort during use. The connector is reworked and precisely angled to achieve the system’s distinct break and reset characteristics. The firing pin safety plunger and reduced power spring are also refined to improve disengagement smoothness.

All components are tuned and matched to function cohesively as a complete system.

JG VEX trigger shoes feature non-adjustable pre-travel, fixed at the minimum safe distance.
