AIS™ Flat Plates are designed specifically for use with Griffin’s GPM™ family of optics mounts. Flat plates allow users to position secondary, non-magnified optics and other accessories adjacent to their primary day optics for improved accessibility and ease of use. These accessory plates can be mounted on all five sides of GPM™ optic mounts, providing a high degree of flexibility. Flat plates are part of the Griffin AIS™ (Accessory Interface Suite). This redesigned Raptar Mount flat plate incorporates Griffin’s dowel-pin alignment interface for increased rigidity and reliable return to zero.
Common applications for flat plates:
- Mounting RAPTAR and Simrad devices at the 12 o’clock position
- Mounting secondary reflex optics on the shooter’s side of GPM™ mounts for bolt-action use in bipod prone positions
- Providing elevated, gas mask-compatible height for secondary optics on the host firearm
- Mounting Picatinny accessories such as ACI devices, data cards, Kestrels, bubble levels, and similar equipment
- Mounting IR lasers, rangefinders, flashlights, and other accessories on firearms without dedicated mounting solutions
