The Geissele 2 Stage (G2S®) trigger is designed as a high-quality, cost-effective alternative to the Super Semi-Automatic® (SSA®) trigger. The G2S is a non-adjustable, precision two-stage trigger that provides consistent and accurate trigger control. It is manufactured from the same tool steel as the SSA, and the sear surfaces are wire EDM cut.
From an external standpoint, there is no visual difference between the G2S and the SSA, and both share similar feel and reliability characteristics. The G2S differs in its method of retaining the hammer pin, lacks laser markings, and undergoes spot magnetic particle (MP) inspection rather than full inspection.
