The Ferro Concepts Wingthing™ is a versatile mounting platform designed to expand the capability of your plate carrier or chest rig. Originally developed as a knife mounting solution, the Wingthing also serves as a rigid MOLLE-compatible platform for mounting pouches, radios, and other mission-essential equipment. Its durable thermoplastic construction provides the support needed for heavier items while maintaining a lightweight, low-profile design.
Compatible with most carriers using a Velcro® attachment system, the Wingthing can be mounted along the side of your carrier or beneath it as a custom dangler-style platform. The 0.5" hole and slot spacing accommodates the majority of Kydex knife sheaths, giving users the flexibility to configure their setup however they see fit.
