The Surgeon 591 Short Action features an integral recoil lug, a side-mounted, shrouded bolt release to aid in avoidance of accidental bolt release and an anti-jam rail to prevent jamming when single loading. The action also features an anti-bind rail to ensure smooth bolt operation allowing for smooth, quick, and consistent follow up rounds even in extreme conditions. Paired with the Cadex Defense Lite Comp Chassis System, and a 16″ match grade stainless steel barrel, the CSR is tactical mission ready out-of-the-box.
