Product Overview
The NoisefightersTM CliffhangIR-KTM was designed to provide a duty-grade, all-in-one raised
mounting platform for a red dot + multifunction aiming laser or clip-on thermal imager that could
be used in conjunction with the excellent Unity Tactical® FASTTM FTC (flip-to-center) magnifier
mount. Raising devices 0.83" allows for a more comfortable heads-up position that is particularly
advantageous for passive night vision aiming and compatibility with large ear pro. No
modifications are needed to utilize CliffhangIR-K with the most popular red dots. Additionally,
positioning the optics and laser or clip-on thermal imager well above iron sights and remote
switches installed on a handguard mitigates light splash and image shadowing, moves the
center of gravity rearward for better balance, and eliminates problems inherent with keeping
laser zero when the laser is mounted to a free-float handguard on a non-monolithic upper
receiver. By utilizing the highest strength 7075-T6 aluminum alloy, weight can be reduced
significantly and optical zero can be maintained even in the event of a severe impact.
Compatible with:
● MIL-STD-1913 / Picatinny top rails which allow a slide-on rail riser and has 7 slots
available
● FN® SCAR, CZ® BREN 2 MS, and similar require their rear sling mounting plates to be
removed before installation, if CliffhangIR-K is to be slid on from the rear
